Not your typical millennial. Born to two (phenomenal!) Caribbean American immigrants in New Jersey, Ashley is an ex-rugby player, cancer survivor, roller skater, and game show winner. When she’s not writing, she’s deeply invested in matters of the microbiome, international travel, and the toxicity of social media algorithms.
Today, Ashley resides in Durham, North Carolina where she shares a home with her husband Cody and schnoodle, Rudy. She banks Black, supports her local community land trust, and will soon break ground on a tiny home in her backyard for the housing insecure.
